Frequently Asked Questions

[br]
How do I know my child is registered?

You will receive an email stating that you are.
[br]
Why does my child need to be 8 years old?

This camp requires attention, coordination, and a level of skill that we do not feel those under 8 have developed yet. The kids also have to stand in line and be attentive to their surroundings to avoid any mishap. We love the young ones and think they are incredibly cute but they have “ants in their pants” and it is distracting to our coaches and the kids that are of age. We ask that you wait another year or two.
[br]
What if I enrolled my child and now we cannot attend?

PLEASE LET US KNOW! We cut registration off at 350 kids with more wanting to come. If you let us know then we can open that space.

What does my child need to wear?

Please dress them in athletic shorts, shoes, and socks. We will provide the shirt when you walk up and check in.
[br]
What do I need to bring with my child?

Your waiver is completed online so bring nothing but your child. His/her name will be on a list with their coordinating shirt size. We will provide water and food at the end of camp. If your child has medical needs please bring those items and let Emily (white camp polo tall brunette) know if we need to keep our eye on them.
[br]
Should I feed my child beforehand?

YES but not too much. The kids will not eat until almost?9 pm. However- we do not want any pukers.
[br]
Should I hydrate my child beforehand?

Absolutely. Dehydration is a huge factor of muscle strains and pulls. This is something you should encourage and make a habit of in general for your young athlete.

I love that beautiful camp t-shirt. Can I have on?

We will sell the camp t-shirts and concession during camp. At this time, we only accept cash. We hold youth small to adult XXXL sizes.
[br]
Can I stay and watch?

Feel free to stay during camp. Your child may win an award during the mid camp questioning portion and may need to hand off their prize. You may want to freshen up your child’s knowledge on EB to better his chances of winning.
[br]
Can I be on the field?

No. We will invite the parents on the field during the final awards section of camp. You may sit in the stands. Better view up there anyway.
[br]
Will there be a signing session after camp?

Yes. After camp and the kids have eaten we will send a line through for EB to sign one item and their shirt. Any fellow Chief players attending will also sign if they choose.
[br]
Can I take a selfie/photo of EB?

Not this year. Out of respect for Eric’s wishes we ask that no close photos are taken this year. We understand distant photos will be taken but please no up close photos. We are requesting this from all the cities we serve this year.

Can I grab an extra bag at the end of camp for anyone else?

I’m sorry but no. We recycle the bags to the next camp to save money. The more money we save, the more outreach we are able to do throughout the year with other events. Extra bags walking out the door adds up quickly. Please just take one per camper.
